Let’s talk about our daily thoughts and actions. Imagine that everything you think and do on a daily basis, acts as a micro spell that in turn affects you and your life. That might sound a bit intense but really it’s just about developing a practice of mindfulness towards all the little things that make up your day.
When you begin to tap into your magic, you realize that everything has a vibration, frequency and spirit. The plants, animals, your home, clothes, music, earth herself, and of course, all of us! You know what else carries energy?…….you guessed it, .our thoughts and our actions.
The most powerful and practical kind of magic is one that works with clear intention. Intention is the why, the meaning, purpose and the will that gives energy to your thoughts and actions.
When we invite intention into our daily ritual, we find ourselves living more presently and meaningfully. You could say that intention is the food that nourishes and gives energy to your magic.
Intention is a choice, it is about switching from reacting to responding to any situation you are in. All you have to do is look at your life and you will be able to see what kind of intentions you have been setting. I’m sure we can all agree that nothing good has ever come from anything planned with bad intent. Though it may have provided an opportunity of growth through a “what not to do” situation, if you want something good to come your way, then you have to put good intent into what you do. Understanding and believing that you have the power to shape and shift your life is the fundamental base of magic.
So how can you start implementing intention into your daily life? Below you will find a couple examples including how to place intention into using technology daily by making your phone and altar. You will also find the energies of each day of the week and learn how to align yourself through intention to each days ruling properties. Remember that the most rewarding magic is the one that resonates for you. Some of our witch sisters place intention of self love by writing empowering quotes on the bathroom mirror and repeating them three times each day. You could also choose to place an intention in your tea or coffee in the morning for strength, ease and grace for the coming of a busy work day. Its as simple as that! What feels good for you is the best way!

Teiwaz is known in Norse mythology as a Warrior God, his tunic symbol of an arrow represents victory and strength in all endeavors. 💪🏼
Thor is known as the God of strength and thunder in Norse mythology, Jupiter ( Zeus ) in Roman Mythology. Thor is considered the strongest of all the Gods and looked to as a protector and defender, for the gods and of mankind. Thor represents the cultivation of the body. Physical strength is just as important as mental strength; In the Viking age, those who combined the characteristics of Thor with those of Odin (Mind/ Knowledge) were the most revered and fulfilled. They could recite poetry and engage in “battles” of words and rhyme, but could also maneuver a hefty battle axe and willingly sacrifice themselves for their family and community. May we emulate those Viking, and seek to better not just our mind, but our body and spirit as well, using Thor as our compass. ☯️
